On Thursday 17.3. In 2022, our unit took over a new technical transport vehicle on the IVECO Daily chassis. This will replace our old avia made in 1992.
The vehicle is fully equipped mainly for technical interventions (removal of trees, elimination of insects, pumping water, etc.). Furthermore, the vehicle is equipped with a hydraulic rescue device LUKAS, which our unit has not yet had, so we will be able to intervene more effectively in traffic accidents. The car’s equipment also includes breathing apparatus and many other equipment.
We would especially like to thank the town of Vysoké Mýto for their support and assistance in purchasing this car. We would also like to thank DG HZS and the Pardubice Region, who contributed a considerable amount to the purchase of this vehicle.
