On Monday, December 13, 2021, at 6:28 pm, four fire brigades destroyed a fire in the production line of the spinning mill in Chocen. Firefighters had to intervene in breathing apparatus and ventilate heavily smoky areas. With the help of a thermal imager, they searched for hidden fires. Firefighters managed to get the fire under control at 19:41 and it was completely extinguished at 20:10. It was a burning of cotton in the machine. Firefighters in the breathing apparatus had to take the cotton out of the machine and extinguish it. The cause of the fire was probably a foreign object in the machine. The damage was preliminarily estimated at 540 thousand crowns. Assets in the amount of 4 million crowns were saved.
