On Monday, October 12, 2020, meteorologists issued a warning against heavy rain with a possible rise in water levels. The warning came into force on Wednesday in the early morning hours and concerned practically the entire republic, with the exception of the westernmost parts of Bohemia. Unfortunately, the scenarios of meteorologists were fully fulfilled and heavy, persistent rain did not escape our region either. The Lou\u010dn\u00e1 River in Cerekvice nad Lou\u010dn\u00e1 reached the third flood stage and reached a level of approx. In the vicinity of Vysok\u00e9 M\u00fdto, it was spilled and flooded in places below. During Wednesday’s day, our volunteer unit intervened in a total of three high-water events. We left for the first event at six o’clock in the morning and returned to the base around 1 pm.<\/p>\n
