On Saturday afternoon we were sent to a car and truck accident on the road I / 35 near the village Cerekvice nad Loučnou. During the collision, the truck’s tank was damaged and there was a large fuel leak. As a result of the accident, the entire road was blocked. The units secured the vehicles against fire on site, disconnected the batteries and prevented the leakage of other operating fluids. One injured person was taken to the hospital by the Ambulance Service. An ambulance helicopter also intervened on the spot, which eventually flew empty. After the accident was investigated, the road was cleaned and immovable vehicles were towed by a towing service. We intervened on the spot together with the HZS unit from the Vysoké Mýto and Litomyšl stations.
