During Saturday afternoon we went to a total of three events. We were sent to the first event at 4:02 p.m. It was a loose sheet metal roofing on a nursing home in Komenského Street in Vysoké Mýto. First, a dangerous area was laid out to prevent injuries to passers-by. Subsequently, with the help of a hammer and nails, the roof was temporarily repaired.
At 16:40, part of the unit was sent to fire a car at the autodrome in Vysoké Mýto. When the first unit arrived at the scene, the car was on fire. With the help of one stream C, the fire was extinguished. Here we only cooperated with the HZS unit from the Vysoké Mýto station and after locating the fire, we returned to the previous event.
We were posted at 17:13 for the last Saturday event. This time it was again a loose roof covering at the former school in the village of Sedlec. Due to the strong gust of wind, the roof could not be temporarily secured. Therefore, a dangerous area was marked and a local unit remained in place to keep an eye on it. We then returned to base.
