For 150 years, Vysoké Mýto volunteer firefighters have been taking care of the safety of their fellow citizens. Much has changed in the long run of their operation. Several generations of members took turns, technology and resources were modernized, and the name of the organization changed. However, what has remained unchanged to this day is the original idea and mission of firefighters. Hurry at any time of the day or night where it is needed. The Sodomkovo Vysoké Mýto festival, where firefighters regularly exhibit their equipment and perform demonstrations of extinguishing fires with period syringes, was perfect for celebrating the beautiful anniversary.
