On Sunday, shortly before 8 pm, we were sent to the smoke coming out of the window of an apartment in Prokop Velikého Street in Vysoké Mýto. The apartment was entered after opening the window. Inside, a man was found inhaling poisonous combustion products. He was then taken out of the smoky apartment, where he was given pre-medical care. Upon arrival, the emergency medical service was handed over to the care of paramedics. After ventilating the apartment, it was found that the cause of heavy smoke was burned food on the stove. We intervened on the spot together with the HZS unit from the Vysoké Mýto station.
