On Sunday, June 21, in connection with the CHMI warning, the unit went to monitor the Loučná watercourse in Vysoké Mýto and its surroundings. Monitoring was performed in B. Korábová, Choceňská, Weinfurtherova and Kpt. Poplera. Although the river level reached the first degree of flood, it had a decreasing tendency. No threat to persons or property was identified. We continued to Slatina near Vysoké Mýto, where the river Slatinka flows. Here the situation of cognition was more dramatic. The riverbed of the once calm river was full of water to the brim. It spilled in some places below. No endangerment of persons or property was found here either. Then the unit returned to its base.
