Our unit, together with the volunteer unit from Choceň, is participating in a 40-hour course to rescue people from crashed vehicles. Training takes place under the direction of the Fire Rescue Service from Vysoké Mýto. The aim of this course is not only to extricate a person trapped in a crashed car, but also to stabilize the car, perform fire-fighting measures, secure the accident site, communicate and manipulate the injured.
Unfortunately, accidents involving the need to rescue people have been increasing recently. Our unit is predestined for these events, so this course is of great benefit to us.
