Fire

6. 4. – 15 : 21

On Monday afternoon we were sent to a forest fire near the village of Pesice. It was found on the spot that it was a fire of litter and stored wood after logging. The affected area was approximately 30 x 100 meters. Due to the strong wind, which complicated the whole operation, the flames spread rapidly. The fire managed to get under control about an hour after the event was reported. Seven fire brigade units intervened. The intervention was completely completed shortly before 8 pm.

During the intervention part of the unit was recalled for another fire in the village Horky. Fortunately, it was a minor fire and the unit was recalled on the way back to the base.
