Saturday morning we were sent to fire an apartment in the hostel in Litomyšlská street in Vysoké Mýto. Survey of the place of intervention found that there was a fire in the kitchen in the apartment on the first floor. A total of 10 people were evacuated from the building. Fortunately, the fire did not get hurt. The fire managed to get under control 13 minutes after the event was reported. He was completely destroyed in another two hours. An investigator of firefighters and a specialist from the Institute of Population Protection of the Fire Brigade of the Czech Republic, Lázně Bohdaneč, were called in to investigate the cause of the fire. The damage was preliminarily quantified at CZK 270,000. The property of CZK 20 million was saved. During the entire intervention the adjacent street was completely closed. Four fire brigade units intervened.
